Product Development and Sourcing Administrator
(six months FTC)

Role Overview

Job Summary

This role focuses on: Supporting the product sourcing and new product development manager with requesting supplier; associated pricing, samples and product specifications and all relevant documents to capture these agreements. The ideal candidate will have some experience in New Product Development or Administrative skills. Project and time management skills are advantageous as this will be key to the success of the role. We are looking for a passionate, confident and dynamic individual who is keen to make an immediate impact within a busy multi-skilled team and be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supply of samples

  • Provide full and timely feedback to all suppliers when product reviews, client presentations and internal evaluations have been completed

  • Support NPD Manager with tasks associated with any Project management of new product development and sourcing initiatives ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks and ultimate launch of projects according to critical path timelines, ensuring appropriate communication internally and externally.

  • To be able to continue build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, internal and external suppliers

  • Obtain Product Specification, New Product Information and Product Information Form.

  • Provide support for the New Product Development Manager as required.



Relevant work/industry experience or training with Food & Beverage

Work Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role required

  • Time & project management skills also required

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • PC literate including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Negotiation skills would be an advantage

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral


Able to work occasional weekends/during holiday periods if required by the business
